Harper's Guide to Fixing Old Clothes...o'rly?

21 Genius Hacks for Fixing Ruined Clothes So sayeth Haper's but lets be honest, anybody who's been doing Cons long enough knows their 21 fixes. These include (but aren't limited to...)

1. Sweaters and jeans in the freezer overnight to avoid shedding and d-stink. (or you could use some febrez...or vodka water...and the infamous sweater shaver)
2. Lemon juice and baking soda for pit stains: It'll work, different deodorants will also effect if you get stains or not however. Try around
3. The Vodka water to remove stink on clothes: works great on costumes that can't be washed but it CAN bleach the fabric if you're not careful. Test where nobody can see
4. Shaving cream on foundation stains: yes if it's washable it may work. Also try Scrub a Dub Dub which is known to get betadine, blood, and bile out but if you get THAT on you at a con you are really LARPing too hard.
5. Clear nail polish to keep your buttons from falling off: LEARN TO SEW! It's a life skill. This is no excuse. If you have a nice bone button you just wrecked it.

And many others (go read the article).This sort of fix it mentality is good as many people would just toss an item. Remember...if you totally wreck something you can always think of a use for it.
